Teensy Sleeping MIce

This is another of my teensy mice sleeping snuggly under a quilt in a real bird nest...this one is especially tiny though, it must have been a finch nest. The nest is really unique because you can see where the birds have woven part of a feed sack into their nest. I think bird nests are one of the most amazing things on the planet! Anyhow, this measures about 2 1/2 to 3 inches across.

MIce in Hammock Nest

I really love this nest, it was found attached to the branch so I left it on there. It is pretty delicate, but has been sprayed with polyurethane to make it stronger and to seal it. It's about 2 1/2 to 3 inches across in most spots.

Seed Bonnet Crow

This little crow is ready to seed her garden. Please note that this picture is an example and this item will be made to order, and will take approximately a week to make. She was made on a sturdy wire frame and is self standing. Her bonnet tie is silk, and she is carrying her seed sack around her neck. She is about 5 inches in length. Her eyes are black glass beads.

This is a very long process, poking the wool thousands and thousands of times. Every item I make is lovingly hand made and many hours have gone into their creation.

All wool used in my creations was raised on our family farm in the hills of West Virginia and is completely hand processed by me.
