Let me introduce you to Mortimer P. Bones! And he is positively the coolest skeleton you will EVER meet!
I had so much fun bringing Mortimer to life. Your Halloween just won't be complete without your very own skeleton! There are so many neat features about him!
Mortimer P. Bones was made from painted muslin. He was put through a several step process to achieve his very, very old, worn, true to life skeleton look. His bones look old, worn, cracked, dirty, grungy, like he's been hanging up in somebody's deserted attic for about 200 years.
His joints are all loop stitched together, so they dangle reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaal nice, just like a real skeleton. Look at the detail in his fingers and toes! You just gotta love them!
His pumpkin head was made from painted muslin. His facial features were hand painted. I then heavily aged his entire head to match his bony body. He also wears a black painted muslin top hat tied with dirty cheesecloth.
The best part - he can sit, too!!! You are just going to have a blast having him pose in different positions and putting him in different rooms of your house. He can even join you for dinner. I bet he has a million great stories to tell.
Mortimer also comes with his very own treat bag, made from dirty painted osnaburg, with the words Treat Bag stamped onto the front of the bag. I tied a prim tag to his shoulder, a vintage image of a pumpkin head ghost.
Mortimer P. Bones is 35" tall to the top of his head and 38" to the top of his hat. He will arrive signed and dated. He can hang against a wall or hang freely, dangling in the air. His back side looks as good as his front. He can also be displayed sitting.
Mortimer P. Bones will definitely be the highlight of your Halloween! It just wouldn't be Halloween without your very own skeleton now, would it?
